What this tells us

Lucia’s reversal is effective because the scene first puts her in danger and then shows her fighting her way out. Our interpretation is that the presentation emphasises her resourcefulness. The reticle and camera framing do not reveal the complete set of actions available to the player, so the scene cannot establish a branching rescue choice or a reward for holding fire.
