What this tells us

Our reading is that the domestic objects and small shared actions make the partnership feel lived in between the larger set pieces. The fridge, mirror and hand-holding passage each contribute in a different way: personal surroundings, appearance and a gesture the interface explicitly offers. They establish moments in the characters’ lives, while the household’s ownership and any relationship mechanics remain unexplained.
