Before buying an Agency: separate the property, upgrades and working cash
An Agency purchase is easier to judge when you split it into three decisions: where you want the building, which optional features you will use, and how much money you want left afterwards. Buying the most expensive configuration is not the same as buying the right setup for your sessions.
Start with the work you enjoy
The Agency brings together active contract work and the VIP Contract mission chain. If your ideal evening is a succession of short jobs, read the Security Contract section of our Agency guide first. If you want a longer story sequence, look at the Dr. Dre guide. Pick the activity before pricing every upgrade.
Treat any claim about hourly earnings as a question to test. Travel, preparation, unfamiliar objectives and restarts all use time. A reward screenshot from a finished mission does not show how long the complete session took.
Write a three-line budget
First, record the property price shown in your own game. Second, list only the optional upgrades you have a specific use for. Third, reserve working cash for the supplies and other activities you expect to use afterwards. Do not treat the balance left after the building purchase as spare money that must immediately be spent.
For example, wanting Imani Tech is a reason to investigate the Vehicle Workshop and the compatibility of your actual car. It is not a reason to assume every vehicle you own will support the same upgrade. Check the workshop option and vehicle eligibility before adding either cost to your plan.
Judge convenience over several visits
Compare each location with the places you regularly return to. An attractive address that creates extra travel every time may suit you less than a cheaper, convenient route. You can make that decision without buying decorative extras on day one.
After a few jobs, note what actually interrupted your session. Buy an upgrade to solve a problem you encountered, rather than one a generic shopping list predicts. This is our suggested purchasing approach, not a promise of a particular return or a newly timed earnings test.
Check the source before you commit
Use Rockstar’s Contract overview for the business features, then compare the current purchase screen with our business buying guide. Event discounts and displayed rewards can change; use the terms shown for your account.
