GTA Online Agency: Payphone Payouts, Safe and Imani Tech

The Agency suits players who want several kinds of active work from one property. Start with Security Contracts, progress the Dr. Dre story and decide separately whether you want the Vehicle Workshop. You do not have to buy every optional room to begin using the business.

Step 1: buy for the route you actually use

Compare the Agency locations on Dynasty 8 Executive with your existing garage, businesses and usual meeting point. A property that is convenient for repeated returns can be better value than decorative extras. Keep a separate budget for ammunition, armour and any workshop you specifically want.

Our suggested buying order is the property first, several completed jobs second, and optional upgrades after you know which part of the business you enjoy. Do not spend your entire balance because a guide combines the building and every upgrade into one recommended package.

Step 2: run Security Contracts

Use the Agency computer to choose a contract. Read its objective and difficulty before accepting. These jobs include different kinds of recovery, rescue and defence work, so prepare for the mission offered rather than following one universal route. Rockstar’s Contract overview.

On your first runs, measure the whole job: travel, combat, delivery and any waiting. A short final encounter is not the total completion time. Record the amount actually received and subtract supplies you bought for that run before comparing it with another activity.

Step 3: the payphone loop

After three Security Contracts, follow Franklin’s introduction to Payphone Hits. Read the assassination-bonus instruction before acting. Eliminating the target is not enough to earn the method bonus if the required condition was missed.

These are the GTA Wiki Payphone Hit reference figures, checked on 22 October. They replace our old GTA$85,000 claim. Event multipliers and special awards are separate. Do not add the combined figure to the base again.

Use the availability shown when calling Franklin. While waiting, choose a different short task rather than standing beside a phone. For the first few hits, prioritise understanding the bonus method over trying to copy a speedrun.

The safe: income rate is not storage capacity

The community reference distinguishes a maximum GTA$20,000 per in-game day after 201 Security Contracts from GTA$250,000 total storage capacity. Income increases at contract milestones, not by the full daily maximum after each individual job. Security Contract and safe reference.

Collect cash before the safe fills. Treat it as a reward for activity you already enjoy, not a reason to grind an unfamiliar mission for hours without checking whether the work suits you. It is not an offline interest account.

Dr. Dre: check the host’s weekly completion state

Follow the VIP Contract investigation through the Agency computer and the objectives presented by the game. Set aside enough time for a sequence of missions rather than treating the final payment as the result of a single short encounter.

The July 2026 economy update includes The Data Leaks in the host-based weekly completion bonus system. First and repeat rewards can differ. Rockstar’s current patch notes. We no longer describe every completion as an identical guaranteed GTA$1,000,000.

Before comparing this with a heist, record whether the host has already finished this week, the reward displayed, your own participation role and the time spent on the full investigation. Do not combine a first-clear award with an ordinary repeat payout.

Imani Tech comes from the Vehicle Workshop

Buy the optional Agency Vehicle Workshop to fit supported Imani Tech upgrades to eligible vehicles. Completing the Dr. Dre story is not the workshop purchase. A jammer does not make a vehicle invulnerable. It is not a guarantee that every delivery vehicle can be modified, either. Choose an upgrade for the vehicle and situation you use; do not budget as though one purchase protects all business stock.

A practical session order

• Check and collect the safe when you return.
• Choose one Security Contract and complete its actual objectives.
• If Payphone work is available, read the bonus method before taking the shot.
• Progress the VIP Contract when you have time for the next stage.
• Record net receipts and full completion time before deciding what to repeat.

Is the Agency worth buying?

Our recommendation is yes for players who enjoy its missions and have enough spare cash to use the property without exhausting their budget. It is less compelling if you only want unattended income or dislike the contract loop. A workshop can be valuable, but value depends on owning a compatible vehicle you actually drive.
