Special Cargo is the original CEO business from 2016, and in 2026 it has settled into a very specific role: the slow-burn stockpile you fill between other activities and cash in on bonus weeks, when a full large warehouse becomes one of the biggest single sales in the game. Run it as your main grind and it will bore you; run it as crime meal-prep and it quietly banks millions.

This guide is the whole operation: the office, the warehouse choice, the sourcing maths, the meta that actually works and the sale itself. Figures are checked against tracked community values as of early August 2026.

Step 1: become a CEO

• Buy an Executive Office from Dynasty 8 Executive; Maze Bank West at GTA$1,000,000 is the cheapest and does everything the GTA$4 million tower does
• Register as CEO from the Interaction Menu; the office computer runs the whole business
• The office is also the gateway purchase for Vehicle Cargo and the Cargo technician in a Nightclub, so it earns its keep three times over

Step 2: pick a warehouse, and think big

• Warehouses come in small, medium and large, bought from the office computer, with large examples running roughly GTA$1.9 million to GTA$3.5 million by location
• There are no upgrades on cargo warehouses, so the buy price is the whole cost
• A small one teaches the loop cheaply, but the large is the meta, because per-crate value rises with the amount sold at once and the bonus weeks are where this business lives

Step 3: source on the cheap

• Source crates from the office terminal: GTA$2,000 for one, GTA$8,000 for two, GTA$18,000 for three per run, and the three-crate run is the efficient play
• Each run is a five-to-ten minute mission plus a short cooldown
• Warehouse staff can also source one to three crates hands-free for GTA$7,500 per 48-minute trip, which is slow but stacks for ever while you do literally anything else

Step 4: run the meal-prep meta

• Do not sell on an ordinary day unless you need the cash. The whole 2026 play is stockpiling toward the 2x and 3x cargo weeks
• Fill steadily between heists and other loops: a few three-crate runs a session plus the staff sourcing adds up faster than it feels
• When a bonus week lands with a full warehouse waiting, you are the player everyone else wishes they had been

Step 5: the sale

• A full large warehouse of 111 crates sells for GTA$2,220,000 at base value, and the sale window is a generous 30 minutes, which makes even the full sale solo-able
• The one bad roll is three Brickades with up to 15 drop-offs; slow, but beatable inside the window if you keep moving
• Sell in a populated session for the high-demand bonus if you can stomach the risk, and on bonus weeks the full sale becomes GTA$4,440,000 at 2x and GTA$6,660,000 at 3x, which is Cayo money for driving a lorry

The honest read: Special Cargo is a poor hourly grind and a superb savings account. Sourcing a full large warehouse takes real sessions of work spread over weeks, which is exactly why it should never be your foreground activity; it is the thing your staff and your spare ten minutes build toward while the Acid Lab and the heists pay the bills. Owning any cargo warehouse also unlocks the Cargo and Shipments technician for the Nightclub, so the business contributes passively even between sales. Buy the office early, buy large when you can, fill slowly, and only ever sell on a multiplier.
