Every GTA Online heist compared: money, buy-in, crew and cooldowns
Eight heist lines, one honest comparison. Every figure on this page is cross-checked against the live game and tested community values as of early August 2026, and every heist named here has a full step-by-step guide on this desk. This is the page for one question: which heist should you run tonight, with your money, your crew size and your evening?
The quick verdicts
- Best money in the game right now: the Kortz Center Heist, on its weekly first-sale rhythm
- Best repeatable solo loop: the Cayo Perico Heist, still, even after the adjustment
- Best with exactly zero money: the Cluckin Bell Farm Raid, free to start, half a million to finish
- Best crew night: the Doomsday Heist, three acts of the most cinematic co-op Rockstar has made
- Best under-an-hour weekly appointment: the Titan Job on Hard
- Best training ground: the Original Heists, run in order, once, with people you like
What they cost to start
- Cluckin Bell Farm Raid: nothing. No property, no fees
- KnoWay Out: nothing. Answer the payphone
- Original Heists: a high-end apartment with a planning room, from a few hundred thousand, plus setup fees of GTA$11,500 to GTA$25,000
- Diamond Casino Heist: an Arcade from about GTA$1,240,000, plus GTA$25,000 per attempt
- Doomsday Heist: a Facility from GTA$1,250,000, plus act fees of GTA$65,000, GTA$95,000 and GTA$120,000
- Titan Job: the McKenzie Field Hangar at GTA$1,475,000
- Cayo Perico Heist: the Kosatka submarine at GTA$2,200,000, plus GTA$100,000 per run
- Kortz Center Heist: a Mansion from GTA$11,500,000 plus the Art Studio from GTA$2,700,000 with full discounts, the steepest buy-in in the game by miles
What they pay, like for like
Headline takes before cuts, on current tested values, with each line noting its rhythm:
- Kortz Center: GTA$1,925,000 for the first primary sale of the week, plus a secondary pool of GTA$2,300,000 to GTA$2,677,500 split across crew bags. Weekly appointment
- Cayo Perico: GTA$400,000 to GTA$2,090,000 by target, with a typical repeat run grossing GTA$600,000 to GTA$680,000 solo. Repeatable loop
- Diamond Casino: GTA$1,480,500 to GTA$2,533,300 by vault target and difficulty on repeats, with first-of-week diamonds tracked around GTA$4,700,000. Weekly spike, decent repeats
- Doomsday: GTA$877,500 to GTA$2,025,000 per act by act and difficulty, boosted on each act first run of the week. Weekly circuit of three
- Pacific Standard: GTA$1,500,000 Normal repeat, 1.5 times that on the week first completion. The best of the originals
- Titan Job: GTA$750,000 on Hard for the host, once per weekly rhythm. One hour, in and out
- KnoWay Out: around GTA$525,000 for the finale host, well past a million across a first full run with the one-time awards
- Cluckin Bell: GTA$500,000 to the host, GTA$50,000 per associate, plus GTA$500,000 in one-time first-completion awards
Who can actually run them
- Fully solo: Cayo Perico, KnoWay Out, the Titan Job, Cluckin Bell, and Kortz Center (one two-player room stays shut)
- Minimum two players, up to four: the Diamond Casino finale and every Doomsday act
- Exactly the numbers, no flexibility: Fleeca takes two, and Prison Break, Humane Labs, Series A and Pacific Standard demand a full four
- The pattern is clear: the newer the heist, the friendlier it is to solo players, and the older ones are where crews earn their name
Cooldowns and gates worth knowing
- Cayo Perico: 144 minutes between solo runs, 48 with a crew, and the Thursday odds reset decides what the island offers
- Titan Job: roughly an hour after the finale, which matches its once-a-week economics anyway
- Diamond Casino: the approach you just ran comes back as Hard if you repeat it, worth 10% more, so alternating two approaches is a permanent raise
- Everything now answers to Thursday: the weekly reset carries a boosted first completion on every line above, which changed what these heists are for
The Thursday circuit
Here is what the July economy actually created: the strongest earning pattern in GTA Online is no longer grinding one heist, it is collecting first-of-week boosts across several. A serious Thursday now looks like this: sell a Kortz painting on the fresh week rate, run Cayo while the odds are freshly rolled, take the Casino finale on its boosted values, and if the crew is around, add a Doomsday act and the Titan hour. That circuit clears several million across an evening or two, touches five different kinds of gameplay, and resets again in seven days. The grind era heists have quietly become an appointment calendar, and the players earning the most are the ones treating it like one.
Finding a crew
Half of this page needs a second player and some of it needs three more, and GTA Online has no crossplay, so your crew shares your platform. The SixCentral Heist Finder covers every heist on this page: pick the job, one tap to join, gamertags straight to the host, Xbox and PS5 kept apart. It runs in our Discord, which opens from your account page, and every full guide lives on the online desk at sixcentral.co.uk/online.
Start free with Cluckin Bell, buy the Kosatka first, learn the Casino with a mate, save for Kortz, and build your week around Thursday. That is the whole meta in one sentence.
