GTA 6 launch trailer: the official announcement and what to check next

Rockstar published the Grand Theft Auto VI launch trailer on 15 October. Its announcement repeats 19 November for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The trailer features music from Justice. Watch the official trailer.

Start with the original announcement

Use the Rockstar Newswire post for the publisher’s wording. A reposted clip, cropped screenshot or commentary video should not be treated as an extra product announcement.

A release date is not an unlock time

Keep four questions separate: the calendar release date, your platform’s unlock time, the download schedule and the edition you bought. One answer does not prove the others. Our UK countdown page explains the clock reference and flags details we have not independently verified.

Before arranging a late-night session, open the listing attached to your own platform and region. Read the edition details and account requirements there, rather than relying on a time copied from a different country’s screenshot.

Watch without turning every frame into a promise

A vehicle in a trailer is not by itself a complete vehicle database, and a cinematic interaction does not establish a repeatable gameplay system. Useful reporting makes that distinction easy to see.
