The Extended Look premiered on Netflix, but you do not need a subscription to see it. The exact same presentation goes up free on Rockstar's own channels tonight, and here is when and where.

When and where

Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look lands free on Rockstar Games' YouTube channel and the official GTA VI website at 2am BST, in the early hours of Friday 28 August. No login, no subscription, just the full presentation on Rockstar's own platforms.

What you are getting

It is around 26 minutes long and, per Rockstar and Netflix, captured entirely from in-game footage on PS5. That makes it the first proper gameplay showcase for the game, well beyond the two cinematic trailers, taking you back to Vice City and the wider state of Leonida with Jason and Lucia front and centre.

Then stick with us

The moment it is up, we are breaking the whole thing down frame by frame, every weapon, vehicle, location and Easter egg with exact timestamps. GTA 6 launches 19 November 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X and S.

Sources: Rockstar Games and Netflix, plus coverage from Softonic and GamesRadar, 27 August 2026.
