Business guide

Money Fronts: the complete guide to the laundering businesses

Money Fronts arrived in June 2025 and added something GTA Online had never had: legitimate-looking businesses whose whole job is making your criminal ones pay better. Three fronts, each with a passive safe, laundering missions, and a permanent boost to a specific existing business, wrapped in a Heat system that asks you to occasionally pretend to be an honest proprietor. None of them is a headline earner; all of them are multipliers, and that is the correct way to buy them.

This guide is the whole system: the entry purchase, what each front actually boosts, the safe and Heat mechanics, and an honest verdict on the buying order. Figures are checked against tracked community values as of early August 2026.

Step 1: start with the Car Wash

  • Meet Martin Madrazo at the marker to open the chain, then buy the Hands On Car Wash in Strawberry from Maze Bank Foreclosures for GTA$1,000,000
  • The Car Wash is the mandatory gateway: the other two fronts only unlock once you own it
  • Owning it boosts your Counterfeit Cash Factory product value by 35%, and washing your own vehicles becomes free, which is a small joy

Step 2: add the fronts that match your empire

  • Smoke on the Water, the Vespucci Beach dispensary, GTA$850,000: boosts Weed Farm product value by 35% and adds a daily Red Harvest weed-bag collection run
  • Higgins Helitours at the Vespucci helipad, GTA$900,000: boosts Air Freight Cargo value by 10%, lets you spawn owned helicopters there, and includes the Higgins Maverick
  • The rule is need-based: buy the front whose boosted business you actually run, and one caveat matters, these boosts lift the MC and Hangar businesses themselves, not your Nightclub warehouse accrual

Step 3: run the laundering desk

  • Call Raf or use any front laptop for Mr. Faber Work, the money laundering missions: recovering assets, escorting cargo, leaning on rivals
  • They commonly pay around GTA$30,000 and run up toward GTA$70,000, decent filler that also feeds the system below
  • Each front also has its own legal jobs, the honest-business theatre, and those are your Heat release valve

Step 4: manage Heat like an adult

  • Illegal activity through the fronts builds Heat per business; max it and that front shows a warning icon and stops generating passive income
  • One legal job for the affected business resets its Heat bar to zero, so the fix is always a single short mission
  • Uncollected safe money also raises Heat by 8% every 48 minutes, which is the game telling you to stop hoarding

Step 5: double the safes

  • Each front safe starts at GTA$750 per cycle and the pooled cap is GTA$100,000, so collect regularly
  • Complete 15 laundering missions for a specific front and its safe income permanently doubles to GTA$1,500, per front
  • The Car Wash safe also scales with how many qualifying businesses you own across your empire, which rewards exactly the players this update was built for

The reference layer

The honest verdict: judged as standalone earners the fronts are C-tier, and judged as what they are, permanent multipliers, the maths changes completely. A 35% lift turns the Counterfeit Cash Factory from filler into a genuine seller, the same again for the Weed Farm makes it finally worth supplying, and Higgins adds 10% to every full hangar for the rest of time. Buy the Car Wash when you run MC cash, add Smoke on the Water with a Weed Farm, add Higgins with a Hangar, and skip whichever front boosts a business you do not own. One clarification for the completists: the Darnell Bros Garment Factory at GTA$2,350,000 arrived earlier, with December 2024 and Agents of Sabotage, a produce-and-sell operation in the Bunker mould that also hosts the FIB Files missions, and we are pinning its exact sell figures in-game before printing them here.

Where it fits

Money Fronts is the finishing layer: the purchase you make after the businesses it boosts, never before. Every guide in the programme is live on the online desk at sixcentral.co.uk/online, on the site and in the SixCentral app.

Buy the Car Wash, match the fronts to your empire, run one legal job when the icon appears, and let the multipliers do the work. Laundering was always the smartest crime in Los Santos.
