GTA+ can be worth a month if you already play GTA Online regularly and will use that month’s actual benefits. We would skip it if you play occasionally, mainly want one vehicle you could buy with earned GTA$, or are subscribing because a future reward might appear. It is an optional recurring purchase, so judge the current offer rather than the total size of a promotional benefits list.

October 2026: what has been verified

Rockstar’s 8 October listing advertises a claimable Pegassi Oppressor for GTA+ members. Confirm the current claim window and eligibility on the official GTA+ page. Do not confuse the named vehicle with the Oppressor Mk II or assume an item remains claimable next month.

The UK PlayStation Store lists a one-month PS5 subscription at £6.99, renewing until cancelled. Check your own platform’s checkout. The same page also describes an eligible GTA VI pre-order offer, so check whether you already qualify before paying for a separate month.

What you are paying for

Think of the benefits in three groups: a recurring cash deposit, things you must claim during a particular benefit period, and access or conveniences that depend on an active subscription. They do not all work in the same way. A vehicle offered this month should not be treated as a permanent promise for every future month.

Start with the official GTA+ benefits page and the store you will actually use. Promotional pages from a previous month can remain searchable after the offer has changed. Do not subscribe on the strength of an old article’s free-property or bonus-cash headline.

The GTA$500,000 deposit is linked to billing

If a payment appears missing, first check whether the subscription renewed successfully on the intended platform and account. Note the billing date and compare it with the transaction you are expecting. Keep purchase evidence for support. Buying another subscription or assuming that every promotional period starts a new payment is a poor way to troubleshoot the discrepancy.

Check your game version before subscribing

A practical value test for your next month

Write down the next few sessions you actually plan to play. If the benefit is a bonus for a job you dislike, its headline value is not useful to you. If the featured car would otherwise sit unused in your garage, do not count its full advertised in-game price as money saved. A discount only helps when it reduces a purchase you already intended to make.

For someone who plays several evenings and wants the current vehicle or included game, one month may offer convenient value. For someone who logs in once, forgets to claim an item and leaves auto-renewal running, the same offer is poor value. You can use a simple personal rule: list the benefits you will use, confirm each is available on your platform, then decide whether that enjoyment or time saved is worth the displayed subscription charge. If the list depends mainly on “perhaps”, skip the month and reconsider when there is an offer you actively want.

Claiming benefits without buying the wrong thing

• Check the current benefit period and the instructions for the exact item.
• Use the eligible game version and account linked to your subscription.
• At a vehicle or property purchase screen, confirm that the expected member price or claim option is actually displayed before confirming.
• For temporary activities, check whether the boost is member-only and whether another bonus is already included in a quoted reward.
• Check your garage, wardrobe or relevant benefit location after claiming rather than assuming the transaction finished.

Do not add every benefit’s maximum theoretical value together. A player cannot necessarily use every bonus in the same hour, and owning something already may reduce its value to you. Nor should temporary membership bonuses be built into the normal-profit figure of a business guide.

Renewal, cancellation and included-game access

The Rockstar store describes GTA+ as renewing monthly until cancelled, with cancellation managed through the provider used for the purchase and access continuing until the end of the paid billing period. If you want a single month, decide that at purchase time and set the renewal preference deliberately. Do not wait for another charge to tell you whether cancellation worked. Treat included-game access and ongoing member services as subscription benefits; do not assume they are permanent purchases.
